When you are invited to a meal in Thailand, the words of the invitation mean “come and eat rice.” In fact, nearly all Thai 23  are eaten with rice, which grows there very easily  24  the climate (气候) is warm and there is much rain.

Thomas Edison was a great inventor. One day, about one hundred years ago, Edison stood by a strange-looking machine. He said the words, “Many had a little lamb.” Then something marvelous happened - the machine talked back. He had invented the phonograph.

Not many years ago, some farmers were worried because hawks (鹰) were taking many of their chickens. The farmers did not know what to do. Finally they decided to kill the hawks.

The farmers killed many hawks. They no longer had to worry about their chickens. But they now had a new worry. Field mice (老鼠) were eating up a lot of the farmers' grain ( food plants).

How did this happen?

Hawks eat not only chickens but also field mice. They eat more field mice than chickens. But the farmers did not know this. When they killed a lot of hawks, they changed the balance (平衡) of nature ( 自然界 ).

When people move into a new place, they often destroy (破坏) many wild plants. Often these plants are food for the animals. If the animals cannot find enough plants to eat, they will go hungry or have to leave the place.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer (鹿) there like to eat a kind of wild rose (some plants). The mountain lions there eat the deer. The number of deer, mountain lions, and wild roses does not change much. But people killed many mountain lions to protect the deer. Soon there were so many deer that they ate up all the wild roses. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of young trees. These trees were important to the farmers. So the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees. Now the deer had nothing to eat, and many of them died. This was another lesson from nature.

To keep the balance of nature is important for us to remember.

We did a survey of (about) school rules, Here are the results. Many students disagree to wear school uniforms but most of them think they should be allowed to surf the Internet. And only some of them don’t like to study in groups.

In my opinion, we should be allowed to choose our own clothes because the school uniforms are always ugly and young people should look smart. Another reason is that I prefer comfortable clothes. (一)评分标准评分原则:

1.按4个档次给分。评分时,先定档,然后在其档内根据语言的准确度给分。

2.第四档为优秀文章;第三档为好文章;第二档为及格文章;第一档为较差文章。

(二)各档次的给分范围和要求:

第四档:(11-12分)很好地完成了试题规定的任务。能写明全部要点;行文连贯;语言结构和词汇选用恰当、丰富;语言基本无误或极少;有效采用不同

连接手段,层次清楚;格式恰当。

第三档:(9-10分)较好完成了试题规定地任务。能写明大部分要点;行文基本连贯;使用的语法结构及词汇能满足任务需求;语言有一些错误:采用了简单地衔接手法,表达基本清楚。

第二档:(5-8分)基本按要求完成试题规定地任务。能写明部分要点;语法结构单调、语言错误较多;未采用合适的衔接手段,内容连贯性不强。

第一档:(1-4分)未能按要求完成试题规定地任务。漏掉或未能有效写出一些内容要点。语法、语言错误较多,影响了对内容的表达;层次不清楚。

评分标准分析

考生的作文要从四个方面考察:内容、结构、语言、篇幅。

1.内容:清楚连贯;紧扣主题(不跑题)。

内容全的标准:描述图表反映的内容;就图表内容发表自己的观点,说明自己的理由。

2.结构:结构完整;逻辑性强。

3.语言:错误多少(通常被量化);表达是否清楚、准确;行文是否连贯。

1)虽然错误的多少可以量化,但单纯的错误多少不足以作为扣分的唯一根据,因为错误的性质不同、严重程度不同。通常,拼写、冠词、大小写、介词等错误被识别为“小错”,而影响思想的表达的错误、动词形式(包括时态)的错误、句子不完整等被识别为“严重错误”。

2)连贯的标准是:通顺、不拗口;恰当地使用衔接词;时态、人称、数前后一致;上下文逻辑关系清楚。

3)要求学生在文章中要用多样化的句式,只用简单句不能进入第四档文章

4)要求学生在文章中使用丰富的语言,如果有太多重复的词汇不能进入第四档文章。

4.篇幅:字数允许上下浮动15一20字之间。

5.错误的严重程度、词汇量的大小、句子的复杂程度应为评分的重要参考。
