Dear Editor,

　 I’m a faithful reader of 21^st century. I take great interest in English study. I like the English language as well as the English songs. Yet, I have felt a little bit frustrated recently when I got in touch with some poems. In the English class we were introduced to some famous English poems, which attracted me deeply. However, without the teacher’s explanation, I still can’t understand the real meaning hidden in the words or between lines, let alone appreciate the poems. That bothers me a great deal.
